Jaw/Chin/Cheek Augmentation

Jaw, Chin & Cheek augmentation is a very popular treatment for patients of all ages. It can achieve two major outcomes in a face. Firstly in younger patients, augmenting and enhancing the jaw/chin/cheekbones with high density dermal filler can create sharper more defined contoured features and more noticeable jawlines our cheekbones giving a more youthful and attractive appearance.

The second main outcome that can be achieve with filler augmentation treatment is to replace midfacial volume loss which is often described by older patients as thinning and sagging of the cheeks causing lower facial jowling and lines and wrinkles. By replacing the lost mid facial fat in older patients with high density dermal filler, the areas are lifted as well as structures below such as lower face jowls and nasolabial lines and marionette lines. Thus giving a "mini face lift" appearance without invasive surgery. Some patients may require more than 1ml of dermal filler but this will be discussed during assessment prior to treatment to find the best approach.

Typical areas of concern that Jawline Fillers can address:

Sharpening and defining the jawline and mandibular angles.
Creating a jawline in those with underformed jawline.
Treating a sagging jawline that merges with the neck.
Creating a more masculine jawline (texas jawline) in males only.

We shall use local anaesthetic for this treatment 15 minutes prior to treatment and there is very little discomfort felt. This procedure is relatively pain-free. My patients often comment that they feel pressure rather than discomfort or pain.
